Paul-Martini-Symposium 2004
Drug Therapy for Children and Adolescents: Problems and Perspectives
Kaiserin-Friedrich-Stiftung Berlin
This year's symposium will illustrate the problems and prospects of pediatric drug therapy. Based on the secured evidence, it will be shown for individual indications where there are gaps in proving efficacy and which new therapeutic possibilities are emerging. The second part of the symposium will address the legal problems associated with clinical trials involving children, including the political viewpoint. Finally possible improvements in the area of research and development of pharmaceuticals for children will also be discussed.
